This page is devoted to listing situations and opportunities to resist. We depend on you letting us know what is happening and where we can act. Resistance involves challenging misinformation, confronting bigotry, calling outchurch officials who disingenuously claim to love everyone but acquiesce in institutional bullying, and caucusing in order to democratically remove officials who marginalize and disenfranchise others.

The Illinois Great Rivers Annual Conference is preparing a slate of delegates to run for the 2020 General Conference who are pledged to making the United Methodist Church more open.
